General Instructions for New Admissions

This information sheet is given to parents seeking admission for their children in our school. On the basis of information provided by the parents the selection committee will select students for admission.

Those selected will be informed before May 15th 2024. The school will not send regret cards to others. If you do not hear from us by May 15th 2024, please understand that we are not in a position to admit your child.
Submitting the application form does not guarantee that admission has been secured.

Application forms will be scrutinized based on the following information.

The duly filled application form should be returned to the school office in person within 3 days during the office hours. Application by post or courier will not be entertained.
The correct name of your child must be entered as mentioned in the birth certificate.
Note: Originals should be brought for verification on the day of Interview.
Incomplete/Incorrect application form will be summarily rejected after verification.
No phone calls or other correspondence will be entertained regarding admission.
It is necessary that the Parents/Guardian retain with them a xerox copy of the application form for further reference.
The application form number mentioned in the application form should be mentioned in all further communications.
Students from other State must produce the Transfer certificate countersigned by the Inspecting authority of that State for admission to any class.
Students seeking admission for Std XI from other State must produce Migration Certificate countersigned by authority concerned, at the time of admission.
Tamil will be given as Second language and Hindi as Third language.
As per Government norms, Tamil will be given as Second language till Std X.
(Hindi will be given as third language till Std IX).
Tamil/Hindi/French (any one) can be opted in Std XI as Second language.
Only Vegetarian food will be permitted in the School Premises.
Application form must be accompanied with the photocopy (Xerox) of the following

Birth certificate
Community Certificate in the child's name
Monthly salary certificate (Father or Mother)
Address proof (Ration card/Voter ID)
Aadhar Card of the student.
Report card Original or Attested Xerox copy.
Transfer certificate

Regulations for Fee payment

Caution deposit and admission should be paid on the same day. If admission is confirmed.
Caution deposit will not be refunded, if the child is not admitted in the school even after confirmation or if the child is withdrawn during the middle of the academic year 2024-25.
Full amount fees should be paid within 10 days after confirmation of admission, Fees once paid will not be refunded.
New admission should pay whole year fee.
Books and uniform fee details will be informed later.

Fees can be paid through online modes NEFT/IMPS/ Google Pay using Account number. Please contact school office for further details.

While making online payment kindly mention the Student name, Class & Section in remarks.

Fees can also be made by cheque or demand draft in favour of
"TERAPANTH JAIN VIDYALAYA MATRIC.HR.SEC.SCHOOL" payable at Chennai.

For LKG Admission

The child must have completed 3 years on or before 31 July 2024 .((i.e) The child should be more than 3 years but less than 4.5 years)
Parent (both Father & Mother) should accompany the child on the day of interview.

NOTE: DONATIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. IF YOU COME ACROSS ANYONE TAKING DONATIONS KINDLY BRING IT TO THE NOTICE OF THE SCHOOL AUTHORITIES
